​We have a list of events, programs and activities to update you on that are currently in the pipeline:

  • Gold Coast Show - August 26th,  - Name of Event: Conversations with Humaneity.  Topic of Conversation: What Does the Future Look Like? Each team of participants (students, parents, teachers and businesses) presents its case and then fields questions from the audience and from other teams.
 
  • Robotics Event - A weekend event where people can come together to create and race, compete in the Robotics Space and create amazing things. 

 

  • Youth Leadership Program -  This course is designed for young leaders (<25). International facilitators and Humaneity Collaboration Centre partner Embrace Worldwide will be facilitating the course here on the Gold Coast. If you have young people in your organisation who aspire to be future leaders then this course is designed for them.   • Tiny House Project  - 3D printing, graphic design and architecture all combined in a fascinating project to create Tiny Homes.  On Friday 2nd September at 3:15pm the Humaneity Collaboration Centre will host a kick off meeting to disucss various possibilities associated with designing, constructing and possibly marketing Tiny Houses across Australia and the world. We seek interested parties in the following sectors: teachers, students, architects, builders, solar experts, home buyers, investors, councillors, sustainability gurus, financiers, parents, seniors, electricians, general public.   • Trivia Night - In conjunction with the P&C this evening event will bring students, parents, teachers and the community together to have some fun around Collaboration. 
 
  • Burning Issues - Humaneity's very own Glen Blah, Ex Senior Officer London Fire Brigade will conduct a Fire Safety Program in the Collaboration Centre once per month during lunch time. This event will be open to ALL. 
 
  • Weekly I.T Support Program - A group of Helensvale State High School's Year 12 I.T Students are now offering their services to help members of our community - Seniors, Businesses, Parents  - to solve their I.T troubles. If you are experiencing some I.T challenges then contact us now to book a time to come and have your troubles resolved. Please email your interest to collaborate@humaneity.com     

 

  • Reading Program - On a daily basis a group of Year 7 and Year 8 students come together before school to participate in a group to help them with their reading skills. This group is currently run by volunteer teachers and teacher aides. We would like to encourage businesses, seniors and parents to get involved in this program and to assist us in expanding it to more students across all ages.
