Enrolment from within our catchment area
Please contact our administration office via email or phone for an enrolment application form. Upon organising an enrolment interview we will require the completed enrolment application form along with supporting documentation to be returned to our administration office. At this interview your child will be able to pick their subjects and we will also provide you with further information regarding our school, policies and procedures. School fees and uniforms can be organised at the conclusion of the interview at our P&C uniform shop and finance department. The following supporting documentation is required prior to organising the enrolment interview:
Student’s birth certificate
Student’s passport and visa (if born overseas)
Student’s two most recent school reports
- NAPLAN test results
- Copy of any student-related legal/court orders
- Copy of an Action Plan is required for any serious medical conditions that the student has (this must be completed by the student's doctor)
Any two of the following documents (at least 1 primary and 1 secondary) showing name and address as proof of residency in our
catchment area:

Please view our subject selection booklets to prepare a possible list of subjects which your child wishes to study for the school year. Subjects are limited to availability at the time of enrolment.
Academy Excellence programs and scholarship
Students entering into Year 7 for 2020 for term one can apply for our Academy Excellence Programs.
Sibling enrolment
As per our Enrolment Management Plan (PDF, 250kb), students with actively enrolled siblings at Helensvale State High School are automatically accepted into our school, excluding siblings that were enrolled via an Academy Program. Siblings of Academy enrolled students can submit an Academy Enrolled Sibling Prospective Enrolment Application which will be assessed with priority, from 19 August 2019 (week 6, term 3).
Enrolment from outside our catchment area
Students who reside outside the school's local catchment area are asked to complete and submit a Prospective Enrolment form. To apply for 2019, please complete the 2019 Prospective Enrolment Application. Applications for 2020 will be considered from November 2019. Once this form is received by the enrolment officer, the application will be assessed on a case by case basis by the Principal and the outcome will be notified in writing by email. There is no external review of the Principal's decision.
