Welcome back to 2022. I am excited to introduce myself, Mr Mitchell, Deputy Principal Senior School. I have joined the VALE community this year and am incredibly excited by the teaching and learning taking place here at Helensvale State High School. Emailed to you is a Letter (PDF, 395KB) and Remote Learning Guidelines for Families 2022 (PDF, 497KB) detailing all information to ensure a smooth start to remote learning from next week for you and your child. If you have not received the email please contact Administration on 5573 8555 to check that your correct email address is on your child's file.
Students, there are 2 tasks you must complete this week to ensure you are ready to log on to your remote classrooms at 8:45am Monday 31st January.
1. Check your IT Access
Ensure you log on early this week to check your school network accounts are active. Any student having password issues are to contact IT by close of business Wednesday 28th February.

2. Check your Timetable & Subject Selections
- Before the commencement of remote learning, please access your timetable via One School. Please review carefully your subject selections and allocated classes.
- Students who have concerns with their timetable are requested to contact the Head of Senior School for their year level by close of business Wednesday 26 January. This is to ensure any changes that need to be made are completed prior to the commencement of remote learning.
- You will note our Futures lesson now takes place on Wednesday period 3 instead of Friday period 2.
