2026 Enrolments

Helensvale State High School is committed to providing access to quality education for students residing within its designated local catchment area.

Due to enrolment capacity and growth, Helensvale State High School may be unable to meet this obligation in the future unless action is taken to manage enrolments. The principal must restrict the enrolment of out-of-catchment students to ensure in-catchment students can enrol at their local state school without requiring additional facilities.

Please refer to our Enrolment Management Plan for further information.

The general and out of catchment enrolment forms are available on this page. You can also contact our administration office via email or phone for an enrolment application form. Enrolment forms and supporting documentation is to be emailed to enrolments@helensvaleshs.eq.edu.au

Enrolment from within our catchment area

For students enrolling in Year 8-12, some enrolments will require an enrolment interview. At this interview subjects will be discussed and we will also provide you with further information regarding our school, policies and procedures. School fees and uniforms can be organised at the conclusion of the interview at our P&C uniform shop and finance department.

If enrolling in Years 9-12, please view our subject selection booklets to prepare a possible list of subjects which your child wishes to study for the school year. Subjects are limited to availability at the time of enrolment.

To apply for enrolment, the following supporting documents must be emailed with your completed enrolment forms to enrolments@helensvaleshs.eq.edu.au

  •  Student’s birth certificate
  •  Student’s passport and visa (if born overseas)
  • Student’s two most recent school reports
  • Copy of any student-related legal/court orders

Enrolment from outside our catchment area

Students who reside outside the school's local catchment area, who are applying to enrol during 2026, are asked to complete and submit the 2026 out of catchment enrolment application form available on this page.  Once this form is received by the enrolment officer and the non refundable application fee has been paid, the application will be assessed on a case by case basis by the Principal and the outcome will be notified in writing by email. There is no external review of the Principal's decision.

2027 general out of catchment enrolment applications are currently not open.
