Expression of Interest – AO4 Human Resources Manager

Helensvale State High School
15 November 2021 until 01/04/2022 (with the possibility of extension)
Full-Time 72.5 hours/fortnight (plus ADO)

Expressions of interest are invited for the temporary full-time position of Human Resources Manager at Helensvale SHS. The position is full-time (72.5 hours/fortnight plus ADO) from 15 November 2021 until 01 April 2022 (with the possibility of extension).

As the HR Manager you will:
  • Provide operational support and advice to staff on a diverse range of human resource management matters, in consultation with the Business Manager.
  •  Coordinate and/or administer human resource processes and procedures, including staff movements, and respond to staff enquires regarding employee entitlements, enabling a responsive human resource service for the school.

Knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of relevant legislation, awards, policies and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge to support the effective management of the school’s human resources.
2. Achieves results
Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments with the ability to determine work priorities and meet outcomes with tight time constraints.
3. Supports productive working relationships
Work both autonomously, and as an effective team member, by acting professionally, building and sustaining effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
4. Displays personal drive and integrity
Demonstrated capacity to provide accurate advice on issues and take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work.
5. Communicates with influence
Demonstrated ability to communicate, liaise and consult with staff at all levels, including regional and central office staff.
