School Sport South Coast Region is one of twelve 'sport regions’ in Queensland. The region was established to provide and manage quality representative school sport programs to primary and secondary students and students with disabilities. As an affiliated school enrolled students aged 10 – 19 years from Helensvale State High School are eligible to trial for selection in a regional team of their choice and eligibility.
School Sport South Coast have a dedicated website where District and Regional trial dates for 2024 and related information can be found. The Broadwater District trial calendar is subject to change by Districts due to numerous circumstances. For the most upto date information regarding these events please consult our school Sports Coordinator, Mr Sherlock or District Administrator, Ms Williams.

FairPlay vouchers provide sports-related financial assistance to eligible school students. Parents, carers or guardians with a valid Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession card can apply for a voucher, valued up to $150, for their children - from 5 to 17 years of age. Key Dates
- 25 January 2024: round 10 open for parents, carers or guardians to apply for vouchers
- 1 May 2024: (or earlier if fully allocated): round 10 applications close
- 29 May 2024: Round 9 and 10 vouchers must be presented to an activity provider.
