Uniform shop

​​​​​​​​​Our uniform shop is located alongside our finance department for convenience, on the south western side of the administration block.

Helensvale State High School has a strict Dress Code (PDF, 376KB) which students must adhere to. Students at Helensvale SHS should at all times present a positive image to the community where they are in regular contact with prospective employers, future parents, students and members of the general public.  A student’s standard of grooming is a reflection of their self-respect as well as a reflection of a student’s willingness to be a responsible member of our Helensvale community.

Winter uniform 

All year levels are permitted to wear the Helensvale SHS formal trousers as part of their formal uniform all year round.

Students are permitted to wear Helensvale SHS tracksuit pants as part of the winter sports uniform in Terms 2 and 3 only. As the tracksuit pants are an item of the sports uniform, they can only be worn with the Helensvale SHS sports polo shirt. There is to be no mixing and matching between the formal and sports uniform.

In the event of a cold snap occurring outside of Terms 2 and 3, parents and carers will be notified by a text message if or when the students are permitted to wear the tracksuit pants at other times of the year.

As is the case with all uniform items, these items are only sold from the school's Uniform Shop.  Look-a-like items from other stores are not permitted.

Junior Secondary Students

Junior Secondary students in Years 7, 8 and 9 are permitted to wear the sport uniform all day only on the days that they have practical HPE lessons. Junior Secondary students are still required to wear full black leather shoes every day.  If students wish to wear alternative sports shoes for their HPE lessons, they are required to change into and out of their sports shoes during HPE lesson time.

Senior Secondary Students

Senior Secondary students in Years 10, 11 and 12 are only permitted to wear the sport uniform during actual PE, Recreation and Sports Academy lessons. Senior students are expected to change in and out of the sport uniform for these lessons. This includes the Helensvale SHS tracksuit pants.

If senior students are not timetabled into a PE, Recreation or Sports Academy lesson, then tracksuit pants are not permitted to be worn at any time, including break times.

Purchasing the school uniform 

All non-Academy uniform items can be purchased through the on campus uniform shop via EFT during opening hours or online via https://www.flexischools.com.au/. In addition to uniforms, stationery and specialised items including subject items are available for purchase. 

All Academy uniform items (PDF, 334KB) ​can be purchased through the Tribal online store. For further enquiries about Academy uniforms please contact Sport Academy Director Lachlan McDonell​.

Prices and availability

• ​Formal trousers are available in both male and female designs.
• Tracksuit pants are a unisex fit.
• Both the formal trousers and the tracksuit pants are available in a wide range of sizes and can be purchased at the Helensvale SHS Uniform Shop.
• Formal trousers can be purchased for $50 and Tracksuit Pants available for $55.
• At this stage the trousers and tracksuit pants will not be able to be purchased online or through Flexischools.
• If the student is in years 10, 11 or 12 they must be enrolled in a PE or Recreation class eg. Physical Education, Certificate II in Sport and Recreation, Certificate III in Fitness or Sports Academy. 
  

Refund and returns policy: Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. Refunds and exchanges can only be given within 30 days of initial purchase providing that the original receipt is presented and all tags and plastic packaging are in place. Refunds or exchanges of sizes cannot be given on any garment that has been washed and/or worn.
